Factory Audit

  • The Factory assessment is performed by our Auditor following a general framework designed after SA 8000 standard and completed, when requested, with the client's specific requirements.
  • All the important elements, such as quality system procedures, production capacity, child labour, staff facilities and personal hygiene… etc. are assessed.
    The Factory Assessment Report that we produce enables the buyers to efficiently select and maintain a high-qualified vendor base.

    Manufacturing Control and Initial Production check

  • This Inspection takes place at the beginning of the manufacturing and aims at making sure that the customer's specifications and reference sample are well-understood by the vendor.

  • The Inspection focus mainly on the presence and quality of the components and materials used in the production process, but also includes a visual check on the quality of packing materials and accessories. The inspector will also check the first production run if it is to be done when he is on site.

  • The Initial Production Check allows an early (and thus cost-saving) prevention of defective components as well as timely corrections if needed.

    During Production inspection
  • The production is inspected when at least 25% of the order has been completed so as to ensure that contractual obligations regarding product specifications, packaging, packing and marking are met.

  • If improvement recommendations and rectifications advices have been given during an Initial Production Check (IPC), the During Production Inspection (DUPRO) will enable to check whether these advices have been successfully followed.

  • More generally, During Production Inspection (DUPRO) allows giving recommendations on-site, so that the quality is maintained throughout the entire production phase and helping monitor if the expected production capacity is reached to complete the order on time.

    Pre-shipment inspection

  • It is carried out when a minimum of 80% of the goods ordered are export packed.

  • Samples are selected at random, according to AQL sampling standards and procedures.

  • The Inspection ensures that the production is in accordance with the specifications, purchase orders or letters of credit.

SHIPPING CONSOLIDATION

Container loading check
It is carried out in the manufacturer's warehouse or at the forwarder's premises.

The inspector first checks the quality and quantity of the goods to be shipped to make sure that the right products will be delivered.

The inspector then monitors the entire loading phase to ensure that the container(s) is(are) in good condition, and that the entire cargo is loaded according to the quantity specified in the P/O.
